Merok Mill House has undergone some significant renovations over the last few weeks.
We decided to introduce more light into the living room space as well as a new window for the bedroom. Whilst the new keylite roof windows were being installed we took the opportunity to raise the roof and upgraded the insulation.
If we were doing this it would be silly not to go the whole hog and rip out the old kitchen which was due for an upgrade, paint the interior and fix a rather wonky floor….. Images below.
Out with the old….. Mr Sledge and I had a rather therapeutic few hours.
While we were at it the floor joists got some levelling… 3 up and 3 down.. and new floor sheets to finish. Very satisfying in the end.
